Air Canada Centre is a sporting facility situated in Ontario, Canada. The arena is taken as home by different sporting teams including the NHL team Toronto Maple Leafs, the NBA team Toronto Raptors, and the NLL team Toronto Rock. The venue is referred to as ACC, the venue name’s abbreviation, and it is also known as the Hangar.

Air Canada Centre is a multipurpose arena with a capacity of 18,500 seats. In addition to sports games of the teams that are based in the venues, several concerts and other events are hosted there. When it was just found, it was owned to Toronto Raptors but the ownership gone to Maple Leafs. The first game played by Maple Leafs in the venue was in 1999 against Montreal Canadiens.

Starting from 2001, the NLL team Toronto Rock moved to Air Canada Centre and their first game in the facility was in 2000 against the Ottawa Rebel. The arena hosted big sports events such as the NHL All-Star Game in 2000 as well as the World Cup of Hockey 4 years later. In addition, it has also hosted the UFC 140 in 2011, the UFC 152 in 2012, and the UFC 165 in 2013.

As it is a multipurpose arena, the ACC hosted many other events apart from the main sporting events. For instance, different musicians and artists have been played in the arena including the Rock band The Tragically Hip in 1999, and Bon Jovi who stopped by the venue as part of their Lost Highway Tour in the years 2007 and 2008. Other bands that performed in the arena include The Police, Spice Girls, Rush, and U2.
